Aristides Matopoulos is Professor of Supply Chain Design at Cranfield University. His work focuses on sustainable, resource-efficient supply chains, spanning circular economy, Scope 3 carbon modelling and the EU’s CBAM and its implications for manufacturers and exporters. He was awarded the first Royal Society Short Industry Fellowship in supply chain research and has worked with 100 companies through ERDF-funded projects,. He has contributed to EU Horizon 2020 and industry-funded sustainability projects, published many peer-reviewed papers, and holds FCILT and SFHEA designations.
