Dr. Nina Wunderlich, LL.M. has served as Deputy Director-General at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy since May 2024, overseeing EU economic policy, the internal market, and bilateral relations. Previously, she held various leadership positions in law, security, and European law. She studied law at the University of Freiburg and earned a master’s degree from the London School of Economics. She later completed her Ph.D. and worked as a research assistant at the University of Freiburg. She is married and has two children.
